If you are an opponent of one of these future hall of famers are you more scared to play? I'm scared to play Tiger because of the talent he is, but i'm terrified of playing Roger Federer. As good as Tiger has been, any golf event there is, there are several others who people are talking about as possible winners. In tennis, with the exception of playing on clay, there is no one else brought up. There is talk of who will reach the finals, to see the trophy presentation up close and personal.
If you go based on Grand Slam Championships, since 2005 Tiger has won four major championships. Those are numbers of a legend, no question about that. But during that same span, Federer has won six grand slams, finished second in two, and made the semi finals of two more. The two grand slam events that Federer has left he has won four straight times and three straight times respectively.
Yet for all that Federer has done in his career, why is Roger Federer not more of a house hold name then Tiger is?
